“Le General sits in a lively corner of the 11th, close to République, and it seems ideal for travelers who want a bit of Parisian buzz. The rooms, while compact-standard for Paris-are smartly designed with quality amenities; I particularly like the Skinjay essential oil system in the showers. The free lobby pastries and welcome drinks are a nice touch, suggesting a hotel that understands the value of small indulgences.”
